In today's volatile business environment, navigating change is more critical than ever. Spencer Stuart’s "Measure of Leadership" report offers insights from over 2K CEOs & board directors on steering organizations through hashtag#change & turbulent times. As always, I’ve done the reading & summarising on your behalf & extracted key insights:

1. Embracing Internal Priorities - Leaders are focusing on controllable factors like company culture, talent attraction, & retention, which are essential for building resilient organizations

2. The Confidence Gap - The report reveals a confidence gap: directors are more confident in their CEOs' readiness to tackle challenges than CEOs are in their boards. This highlights the need for stronger alignment & communication

3. The Role of AI & Technology - While AI & technology are transforming industries, fewer than half of the leaders prioritize these areas, suggesting a cautious approach to new technologies

4. Listening to Employees - Listening to employees is crucial. There are disconnects between what leaders prioritize & what employees see as critical. Bridging this gap ensures strategies are grounded in reality

5. Continuous Dialogue - Ongoing dialogue among leaders is valuable. Sharing experiences helps CEOs & directors navigate change more effectively
