The global labor market 🌍 is on the brink of transformative change ! 

World Economic Forum’s “Future of Jobs Report 2025”, including interviews with +1,000 leading global employers, sheds light on how 5 macrotrends will shape jobs & skills by 2030

Key insights:

1. Technological Change 🤖: With 60% of employers expecting digital access to transform their business, advancements in AI, robotics, & energy technologies are set to redefine roles & fuel demand for tech-related skills

2. Economic Conditions 📉: The increasing cost of living & economic slowdown will drive demand for creative thinking, resilience, flexibility & agility

3. Green Transition 🍃: Climate-change mitigation & adaptation are pushing for roles in renewable energy & environmental engineering, highlighting the importance of environmental stewardship

4. Demographic Shifts 👩🏼‍🦳: Aging populations & expanding working-age populations will increase demand for healthcare & education-related jobs

5. Geoeconomic Fragmentation ☣️: Geopolitical tensions & trade restrictions will transform business models, driving demand for cybersecurity & leadership skills

The report predicts that job creation & destruction due to structural labor-market transformation will amount to 22% of today's total jobs, with a net growth of 78 million jobs by 2030. This underscores the critical need for upskilling & reskilling initiatives, with 85% of employers prioritizing workforce development

4. Creative thinking
5. Motivation & self-awareness

Core critical skills now & expected to increase further in importance by 2030:

1. Leadership & social Influence 
2. Curiosity & lifelong learning
3. Systems thinking
4. Talent management
5. Motivation & self-awareness 

Not only do the above solidify their importance, but they do emphasize
the continued relevance of human-centric skills amid rapid technological advances
