Is the Global Workplace at a Breaking Point 🚨?!



Gallup’s 2025 State of the Global Workplace report is a wake-up call ⏰ for leaders everywhere

📉 Global employee engagement has dropped to 21% — the same level seen during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic 🦠

But here’s the real headline: Manager engagement is collapsing too:

Young managers (<35): -5 points

Female managers: -7 points

Only 44% of managers have received any training for their role

Meanwhile, hashtag#AI is transforming every industry, & we’re asking managers to lead through it — often without the tools, support, or development they need

💡 The opportunity?

If we get this puzzle 🧩 right, Gallup estimates we could unlock $9.6 trillion💰in global productivity — a staggering 9% boost 🚀 to our global GDP!

Here’s how:

1. Train every manager — even basic training cuts active disengagement in half

2. Teach coaching skills to managers — boosting manager performance by up to 28%

3. Support wellbeing — with development, manager thriving jumps from 28% to 50%

🌍 The data is crystal clear:

Only 33% of employees globally say they’re “thriving” in life

50% are actively looking or watching for a new job

Stress, sadness 🫩, & loneliness are rising — especially among remote workers & managers

This isn’t just an HR issue. It’s a leadership imperative.
